While Taylor was visiting the twins and I (obviously) had to show her our favorite parts of Charleston, and of course this included the HIstoric Downtown!
She brought two of her dogs with us, Crash and Boris. Boris is her personal favorite dog (pictured left) and Crash is a puppy she's training as a demo dog (pictured right)
We ran the dogs through several different little "drills" right on the sidewalks in Charleston, the distractions were perfect for training.
We were (endlessly) stopping to try and get photos of the dogs actually paying attention.
This ^ was what they gave us mostly. Getting both dogs to pay attention at the same time was quite a challenge. I (kinda) got a few good ones...and a bunch of silly ones!
Our walk took us right through the middle of the Historic district on King Street, my personal favorite. There are so many beautiful places here that it's impossible to actually choose a favorite - I just really like King St. because there are so many shops and restaurants and amazing buildings!
We met lots of dog-lovers who insisted on petting Crash and Boris (who were very happy about it) and also plenty of other dogs....these meetings were interesting. We finally ducked onto a side street for some shade, and also to get the dogs away from the crowds.
We turned around about halfway down King St. and headed back via a different route.
As usual...no outing would be complete without handstands from Megan.
We had so much fun visiting with Taylor....and (so excited) she rented a house while she was here!! I can't wait until she's down here more often!
Until the next adventure....cheers!
