So obviously the Superbowl was a great celebration and chance to warm up a little bit after all the ridiculous storms and FREEZING temperatures this past week.....the storm I blogged about on the 27th was just the first of several ridiculous storms. This morning while taking my fuzzball out I took photos of some of the aftermath in our yard.
I'm not sure if I've mentioned this before, but we have the only "plowable" driveway on the street....something we have been VERY thankful for these last few storms. I'm not sure what we would have done otherwise! As it is Dave spent hours shoveling our sidewalk, porch, the back path, and doors!
After all this snow we are counting down the minutes until spring and May 20th when we leave for MEXICO!! Trust me, it can't come quickly enough! With negative temperatures (at least overnight) forecast for the next week AGAIN I think it is fair to say we've had enough of winter. Hopefully we will get to go sledding or snowboarding this season to take advantage of some of the good parts of winter.
We are also pretty excited about the fact that next winter we will be living in the southern US, so HOPEFULLY we won't have to deal with the crazy winter temperatures and snowstorms anymore. We just need to decide between South Carolina or Georgia....thoughts anyone?
<----- All she wants to do is cuddle down in bed after playing out in the snow. At least someone in our little family likes the cold! :)
